索尼互動娛樂（SIE）在今年 2 月證實，PS5 的虛擬頭戴顯示器 PlayStation VR2（PS VR2），將支援連接 PC 遊玩與使用。而終於昨日晚間（3），官方正式宣布 PS VR2 的 PC 轉接器將在 8 月 7 日推出，售價為 59.99 美金（約新台幣 1,940 元）。

PlayStation 官方宣布，將在 8 月 7 日正式推出「PS VR2 PC 轉接器」，接上 PS VR2 後，再搭配上一條支援 DisplayPort 1.4 的 DisplayPort 傳輸線（同樣需要確認個人 PC 是否支援），就能開始享受 Steam 上擁有的數千款 VR 遊戲，像是《戰慄時空:艾莉克絲》、《異塵餘生4 VR》和《戰爭雷霆》等。

當然官方也提到使用轉接器後的 PS VR2 功能會和連接 PS5 時有所差異，像是 HDR、頭戴裝置震動、眼動追蹤、自適應扳機、觸覺回饋，在 PC 尚無法使用。醫洗臉不過仍然保有 PS VR2 的 4K OLED 顯示器（單眼 2000 x 2040）、110 度超廣視野、手指觸碰偵測，以及部分遊戲支援的注視點渲染和 3D 音效技術。
